Leave Policy

India Office Policy: This page covers leave policies specific to the India office (Ahmedabad). Leave entitlements for the India office differ from those of the US offices.

The India office provides comprehensive leave entitlements in accordance with Indian labor laws and company policy. Employees are entitled to the following categories of leave:

  • Earned Leave (EL): Accrued based on days worked, earned leave can be used for planned time off including vacations and personal matters.
  • Casual Leave (CL): Available for short-term, unplanned absences or personal needs that arise on short notice.
  • Sick Leave (SL): Provided for health-related absences, including illness or medical appointments. Medical documentation may be required for extended sick leave.
  • Public Holidays: The India office observes public holidays as applicable in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The list of observed holidays is shared at the beginning of each calendar year.

Additional leave types, such as maternity leave, paternity leave, and bereavement leave, may also be available as per statutory requirements and company policy.
