Time Off

As of December 2025, we use Stay in the Black (SITB) to request all PTO.

Log in, click on PTO Balances, then click "Request PTO" on the right side. Your manager will receive a notification and can approve or discuss the request with you.

All full-time equivalent (FTE) employees are eligible for the following Paid-Time Off (PTO) benefit. We encourage all team members to use their PTO and take the necessary break from work time-to-time.

US Employees

PTO accrual begins 90 days after your start date. All team members start with 15 days for the first year.

  • Additional 5 days on 5th Year Anniversary
  • An extra day per year from year 6 onwards
  • Maximum PTO of 25 days

All PTO balances are updated on Stay in the Black.

India Employees India-based employees receive leave as per Indian labor law and company policy. Please refer to the India Leave Policy for details.

We encourage you to take your PTO by year-end (12/31). Up to three (3) days can be rolled over into the new calendar year. Rollover PTO expires at the end of June, on 6/30.

Any additional unused PTO expires per calendar year on 12/31. Upon voluntary or involuntary termination, PTO is not paid out.

Benefits

US Employees

The waiting period is 90 days after hire date, after which coverage begins the 1st of the following month. For example, hire date is March 5th, health benefit eligibility is July 1st.

India Employees

Benefits include group health insurance and statutory benefits as per Indian law. Details are provided during onboarding.

Payroll

US Employees

Access your pay stubs through Intuit Workforce. You can view and download statements for the current and previous tax years.

India Employees

Pay stubs are distributed monthly via email. Contact the finance team if you need a copy or have questions about your payslip.

US Employees

Pay days are every two weeks. Specific pay dates are on the Team Calendar.

India Employees

India employees are paid monthly, typically by the last business day of each month.

To update your direct deposit information, download the Direct Deposit Authorization Form, fill it out, and email it to hr@blackinkservices.com. Changes typically take one pay cycle to go into effect.
